One postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Ning Wu at Van Andel Research Institute in Grand Rapids, MI.
The Wu Laboratory studies glucose and lipid metabolism in diabetes and cancer using many different techniques. There are different project options available, ranging from genetic models, signaling mechanisms using tissue cultured cells, protein purification and biochemical characterization to structural analysis using single-particle cryoelectron microscopy. The position is supported by a recent R01.

Postdoctoral Fellows at VARI are full-time employees and receive an annual salary. Salary is based on Doctorate/MD receipt date according to a set stipend schedule, which begins at $47,500 up to a maximum of $54,000. Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage and relocation assistance.
